    Hello All

Sunday, May 4, 2008, 10:50 AM EST [General]

It's been a while since I have been here.  School is over in about 4 weeks, and I just finished my second semester in Graduate school - lots of work.  I haven't been riding as much as I should, but I'm trying.  The NBHA Dixie regionals is this weekend and I rode up there to see some folks - my boys rode but didn't get anything done.  Alan was announcing this time.  Hope everyone is doing good - guess a lot of of folks won't be traveling as much with the price of fuel - it's tough out there!

    Back to school

Monday, August 27, 2007, 05:19 PM EST [General]

    Hi Everyone!

I'm sorry to say we are back to school - summer goes by sooooo fast!  I could get used to not working.  I changed grades from 4th to 1st, and I started Graduate school on the 24th.  Needless to say I haven't had much time to ride.  Burnie is getting lazy.  But we are weaning the filly this week and hopefully I'll get back in the saddle more regularly soon.  I told Wil he could ride Burnie if he wanted the rest of the year - he is leading the Youth 1D for the saddle. :)

Anyway I wish everyone a happy Fall, and safe travels on the road,

    Summer going by too fast!

Sunday, July 29, 2007, 05:21 PM EST [General]

I cannot believe it is the end of July.  I go back to school on August 14th, and kids return on the 20th.  This summer has flown by as usual.  Alan and I had a great time on the road fro about 4 weeks up north, Wisconsin to the Dakotas, I really like it up there.

Jacob and Alan are on their way home from Jackson and the NBHA Youth World.  That is a long week, but I kinda miss being there because I get to see a lot of friends that I don't see often.   Jacob had a good week - he got back to the Finals, and ended up 4th in the 4D with a pretty nice paycheck!  I hope all that went had a ggod time and good memories.  I'm proud of all of the SC Youth that represented us.

    Things went smooth!

Saturday, May 26, 2007, 11:05 AM EST [General]

    Hello everyone,

The state show is a week past and it is a good feeling!  That is so much work, but it was worth it as it turned out to be a really good show.  All went smooth with the help of my family - Alan announcing, Jacob on a tractor, Wil helping with check in and shavings, and the many good people of SC who are always willing to lend a hand, and I have great District Directors!

We were able to add $10,000 this year and Stienhoff saddles in the Open.  I had some other very nice prizes that folks seemed happy with.  I hope so.  I work hard to try and make things nice for our state.  Good luck to those who traveled on to Fort Smith, and good luck and safe travel as you go on to other barrel races.

I've got 3 more days of school, and that is a wonderful felling!  :)

    Talk later,

    Angie

    Knee Deep in State Stuff

Saturday, May 5, 2007, 04:40 PM EST [General]

    Hey All -

It's been a rainy Saturday - but we need it so!  Wil had Band Competition today and did very well, he's happy.  My house looks like a tornado hit it with all of the state stuff evrywhere.  Awards coming in, putting the final touches on the Ad book and the pre-entries.  I will have the draw in a day or so and will post it on scnbha.com. (Well Andre will... :)

Like I said, it is a lot of work putting on a show, and trying to remember everything to be done.  I pray all goes well, and look forward to seeing everyone for a weekend of fun!  I'm even working on a horse to ride.....maybe.  :)

    Later,

    Angie
