Well i got my first barrel racing done...i didnt do good at all haha i was having problems connecting with my horse....im gunna try to give her what she wants as long as she gives the same respect back...I just hope by next sunday i do a heck of alot better than i did last....but u always gotta have faith in you and your horse and next time i know wat i need to do different...

Barrel Racers Prayer

 Lord, help me treat my horse with

consistency and respect,

Giving him/her that extra pat and extra

handful of oats,

not just when we win,

but every time he/she tries for me.

 Lord, help me when I'm angry and frustrated

to correct my horse if he/she needs it,

but no more than is necessary,

remembering that he/she depends on

me to treat him/her fairly.

 Lord, help me keep Barrel Racing in Perspective,

remembering that God and family

are the most important things in life,

and then Barrel Racing.

 Lord, I ask you to give me a pure heart,

honestly wanting every girl to do her best,

because it is better to be at the

bottom of a pen of winners

then the top of a pen of losers.
