Don't you just love young horses. You never know whats gonna happen until it does. They think they are smart and do what they want sometimes. You try to keep helping them and then you just have to learn to trust them. You give them an inch and they take a mile. I can't wait until we get past the point of having to school all the time and we can just go in there at a full blown run.Colts make you miss your good open horse. But i wouldn't trade the experiences I have had for anything. They only make you better and work harder on the next one. The finished horse is an accomplishment only you know how hard you worked for and it gives you great pride to run and win on that horse.
