It seems, in life, that many people bumble about in a state of personal unrest. Many aren't happy, whether it's with themselves, or some random thing in their life...their WHOLE life.
You can see it in the faces of strangers at any public gathering, whether it be a diner, a shopping mall, the park, or simply passing them on the highway. A story of disappointment and contempt behind their eyes, masked by the smile they put on their face.
What people won't do to make themselves FEEL. Feel anything. The country's debt isn't all about want. It isn't about the NEED of the needy, either. It's about the want and need of the "soul" to love itself... and what people won't buy to convince themselves they love their life, themselves and even those around them. Words like "deserve" and "paid my dues" explain their desires to themselves and others, yet repeatedly, they fall short. Empty. Never reaching that point of personal satisfaction in life because they've yet to be able to buy what what they really desire and deserve.
The love for themselves.
