I'm so excited! I have a highschool rodeo on the 28th! Can't wait. Bad news tho, cuz the weather here sucks! I've hardly worked on the pattern but my girl will still do awesome! Since this is my first blog, I'll tell u bout me and my mare. I'm a sophomore in highschool and live in ND. I bought my Dash For Cash b/w paint mare, Snap, two years ago as a four year old. She knew hardly anything about barrels and never saw a pole or cow in her life. Now, as a 6 year old, I have her doing an awesome barrel pattern :), placing in poles, and herding cows! I'm jsut so proud of her. Only thing wrong is that i cant ever catch her unless i have a bucket of grain.... and she's really head shy. Her previous owners whipped her between the ears :(, and they beat their barrel horses when they had a bad run. Well, I'm glad I have her out of that place now cuz I Love her Soooooooo much! i also am training a three year old dun gelding, Chino, who is absolutely gorgeous! I have never seen someone so handsome as he is! lol and he's sweeter than ever. Well, gotta go!
